Hi Folks, It's been another marvelous year of new songs and friends. With my CD's, "Catfish Moon (2006) and "Real Men" (2002) both in their second printing I'm putting together the pieces for the next release due out sometime in '09. Wayne Wilkerson & I just finished our 9th year of producing and hosting the Thursday night Songwriters' Series at Anderson Fair in Houston and we'er gearing up for year 10. The series is a mainstay in Texas performance circles. We feature singer/songwriters from all over North America as well as many great Texans. Recent touring has taken me to OK, KS, MO, IL, AR, NY, MA, GA, LA, FL, MS, CO, MN, TN, & VA, as well as all over my home state. Over half my out of state travels have been working with my good friend Karen Mal. When we're on stage together it is absolutely magical. Around Texas I'm just as likely to be playing with ace lead guitar, Wayne Wilkerson. Performing with Wayne is like having Ken Gaines on steroids. But you don't have to take my word for it. Ask any of the references I've listed on the "Contact" page what they think. I've come to the realization that I have nothing better to do with my life than write these songs and sing 'em with my compadres. It's probably all I'm good for anymore (unless you're talking to my wife) so I just let go of the tiller, spread my sails, and go where the music blows me. To that end please consider me on my own or with Karen or Wayne when you're thinking about booking or just throwing a party.
